Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 27 Oct 00:14

Summary of changes since v3.4.6:

  • Properly disable menu options that shouldn't be enabled on Windows (ex: placeholder options)

Full Changelog: 3.4.6...3.4.7

Note for macOS users:
macOS may prevent you from opening the app normally.
This is because the app isn't notarized, as I don't have an Apple Developer license to notarize the app with.
To work around this, try opening the app, then go to Settings > Privacy and Security > click Open Anyway.

Note for Windows users:
This version of the app is still in beta. It shares the same functionality as the macOS version, but the UI/menu bar code was rewritten from the ground up.
App updates must be done manually for now, but in-app schedule updates are fully supported.
There may be bugs. If you find any, submit an issue here!

This update contains database format updates!
Make sure to delete the paths below before running the app:

  • ~/Library/Application Support/MenuBarSchedule/data.db (macOS)

@github-actions github-actions released this 11 Oct 02:01

This release fixes an issue that prevents schedule changing and rewrites the config code to use SQLite instead of JSON.

Note for those updating from an older version:
Your settings are not migrated to v3.
I will try my best to provide database migrations from this point onwards.

Note for macOS users:
macOS may prevent you from opening the app normally.

2.0.2

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 10 Oct 01:18

This release adds support for schedule pack-specific calendars, decreases CPU usage to be <1% on idle, and halves the storage space needed for the app. It's also the first release to be built entirely through GitHub Actions!
The old build scripts (build_release.py and build.py) have been deprecated and are subject to removal.

Note for those updating from an older version:
If you are currently on v1.1.1 or lower, you will need to update the app manually.
The older update system doesn't support unzipping symlinks, which will prevent the updated app from launching.

Note for macOS users:
macOS may prevent you from opening the app normally.
This is because the app isn't notarized, as I don't have an Apple Developer license to notarize the app with.
To work around this, try opening the app, then go to Settings > Privacy and Security > click Open Anyway.
