Plugin-API 1.1.4

A new release of Plugin-API for Paper/Spigot 1.21 plugins, featuring major improvements to the project structure, event bridge, public API, configuration management, inventory events, and database integration support.

Changes

  • Renamed the project and artifact from SimpleEvents to Plugin-API.
  • Reorganized the plugin entry point under org.abbas.PluginAPI.API.
  • Reorganized packages and internal source paths to match the new Plugin-API structure.
  • Added ConfigManager and ConfigType for configuration and message file management.
  • Added DatabaseAPI and ResultMapper interfaces for database integration support.
  • Added custom inventory events:
    • CustomInventoryClickEvent
    • CustomInventoryCloseEvent
    • CustomInventoryDragEvent
    • CustomInventoryMoveItemEvent
    • CustomInventoryOpenEvent
    • CustomInventoryPickupItemEvent
  • Added CustomPlayerTeleportEvent with destination modification and cancellation support.
  • Improved CustomPlayerInteractEvent and added support for additional interaction types.
  • Improved CustomPlayerKillEvent and propagated its cancellation state to the original event.
  • Fixed Join and Quit event bridging so original messages are passed through and modified messages are applied back to Bukkit/Paper.
  • Fixed propagation of message changes and cancellation states across custom events.
  • Simplified CustomProcessCommandEvent to correctly support command message modification and cancellation.
  • Improved compatibility with Paper API 1.21.
  • Updated CI to use Java 21 and Maven with mvn clean verify.
  • Added Qodana configuration for code quality analysis.
  • Updated documentation, project files, and module paths.
  • Updated the Maven project version to 1.1.4-SNAPSHOT.

Installation

Place Plugin-API-1.1.4-SNAPSHOT.jar in the server's plugins/ directory.
