  • Expanded bot detection — 14 officially verified crawlers that previously fell into the generic "Other Crawler/Spider" bucket are now recognized individually, each with its correct provider and type:
    • AI crawlers: OpenAI OAI-SearchBot (ChatGPT search/citations), Anthropic Claude-SearchBot & Claude-User, Perplexity-User, Meta-ExternalFetcher, Bytespider (ByteDance), CCBot (Common Crawl), cohere-ai, Diffbot, ImagesiftBot (Hive AI), Timpibot, YouBot (You.com)
    • Search indexers: DuckDuckBot (DuckDuckGo), PetalBot (Petal / Huawei)
    • SEO/marketing: DataForSeoBot
  • "Why LogWerk?" README section positioning the tool against self-hosted stacks and cloud services (privacy, minimal setup, provider/purpose bot classification, single-bot filtering).

LogWerk now recognizes 70+ bots in total.
