v1.0.0 — Lutheran Lectionary
The first tagged release of the LCMS Liturgical Calendar for the Lutheran Service Book — a complete, self-hostable lectionary that publishes only facts and public-domain texts.
Highlights
- Two lectionary series — Three-Year (A/B/C) and One-Year (Historic), with full historic-calendar support (Gesima Sundays, correct Transfiguration placement, Trinity-season naming).
- Full One-Year propers from the Common Service Book of the Lutheran Church (1917) — introit antiphons, Collects of the Day, graduals, and sanctoral collects, all public domain — inline and on a printable
/properspage. - PDF export — landscape Church Year calendar, the One-Year propers, the daily lectionary, and a one-page "Propers for the Day" sheet for any date (bulletin-friendly).
- LSB Daily Lectionary, Hymn of the Day (both series, A/B/C-aware), iCal / webcal subscription, JSON API, search, shareable permalinks, dark mode, and browser-stored preferences (incl. historic violet Advent, default for the One-Year series).
- Self-hostable — multi-arch Docker image (
ghcr.io/abc3-mac/lutheran-lectionary:latest), happy behind Nginx / NPM / Traefik.
Copyright
Only facts (readings, feast dates, colors, hymn numbers) and public-domain texts (CSB 1917, KJV, ASV) are reproduced. LSB/CPH collects and ESV text are referenced or fetched live, never stored.
