First public alpha of Amplifi Chatbase, an elegant iMessage-style alternate front end for Chatbase.

Options, REST routes, and markup may change without notice before a stable 1.0.0.

What it does

• Hero prompt box — animated type-and-backspace placeholder; submit to open the modal with your question already answered.
• Inline chat window — fixed-height, always-open iMessage-style chat in the page flow.
• Popup modal — full-screen glassy blurred backdrop with bubbles floating up from the bottom.

Highlights

• Secret Chatbase key stays server-side (proxied through a WP REST endpoint, never sent to the browser).
• Real streaming when supported, fast fake-typing fallback otherwise.
• Fully customizable colors, auto light/dark, per-shortcode overrides, configurable bot identity, localStorage persistence, optional sounds, accessibility.

Install

Download the source zip below, upload via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, activate, then configure under Settings → Amplifi Chatbase.
