v1.1.0
New
- Block processing (-C X,Y,Z): convert images larger than RAM by holding only a bounded region in memory at a time. Zarr is blocked in all three axes; TIFF only in Z (full XY slices). Omit for the previous whole-timepoint behavior.
- Faster block fill: the read → Imaris-block copy is now a row-wise memcpy with the data type dispatched once per block instead of per voxel — ~8–10% faster end-to-end with byte-identical output (profiling showed the old per-voxel loop was ~1/4 of the conversion's CPU).
Build
- All dependencies now fetched via CMake FetchContent (no vend cpp-zarr 1.5.0, ImarisWriter, HDF5 1.14.6, LZ4 1.10.0, zlib1.3.1, nlohmann/json.
- Builds on Linux (gcc), Arm Mac (Homebrew gcc), and Windows (MinGW); the release target assembles a self-contained, run-in-place folder (executable + shared libraries). On Apple Silicon the bundled libraries are -name fixups so they load correctly.
- Added a build.sh helper and round-trip + block-equivalence smoke tests (ctest).
