- Desktop UI responsiveness and overflow: Enforced minimum window constraints (780x520) in Tauri configuration to prevent UI clipping on resize; added responsive window resize handler auto-collapsing the sidebar below 860px; prevented window control overlap on compact screens.
- Search & filter split-brain state: Unified topbar search input, sidebar tag filter, and connections view state with two-way bindings.
- Long identifier handling: Added full hover tooltips and truncation across connection names, hostnames, usernames, file paths, and tags; prevented grid card height ballooning with tag count limits (
+N more chips).
- Responsive views: Made table columns in Connections, History, and SFTP views hide gracefully on compact viewports; eliminated rigid horizontal minimum widths (
min-w-[760px], min-w-[780px]); made SFTP path breadcrumbs wrap cleanly.
- Audit findings command formatting: Made remediation command snippets selectable, scrollable horizontally (
overflow-x-auto select-text), and responsive on small window sizes.

- Modal & dialog architecture: Standardized modals across ConnectionModal, DetachedSessionsModal, BatchExecModal, KeysView, and TunnelStudio with uniform header, body, and footer structure; enlarged connection edit dialog and added live tag chips preview with quick-delete buttons.
- Design tokens & styling: Added missing Tailwind theme tokens (
--color-surface-elevated, --color-surface-active, --color-surface-subtle, --color-border-strong) and .badge-subtle utility class.
