What is Tadabbur?

Tadabbur is a fork of Quran for Android with additional features to help users understand the Quran more deeply through word-by-word analysis.

New Features in Tadabbur

  • Word-by-Word Display - See the translation and transliteration of each word directly on the Quran page
  • Root Word Details - Explore the root words and their meanings for deeper linguistic understanding
  • Enhanced Navigation - Improved ayat navigation with nicer previous/next ayat buttons
  • Notes - Add personal notes and reflections on any ayah, organize with labels, reply to notes, and search across all your notes. Created and updated timestamps are tracked and displayed.
  • Notes Export/Import - Export all notes as a readable markdown file and import them back, with created/updated dates preserved. Compatible with Google Drive and other cloud storage.
  • Audio Ayah Highlighting - Current ayah highlights in blue and auto-scrolls during audio recitation in word-by-word view
  • Larger Word Detail Fonts - Increased font sizes in word detail bottom sheet for better readability
