DevFeed 0.0.42 brings a new sign-in experience, restores developer profiles in the browser extensions, and improves article topic analysis.

What changed

• Sign in or create an account directly on DevFeed with one shared form and improved light, dark, and mobile layouts.
• Open public developer profiles, edit profile settings, and view Dev Cards in Chrome and Edge.
• See consistent technology icons and improved spacing on developer stack cards.
• Improve article topic matching and require a supported primary topic before an analysis is ready.
• Keep article enrichment, image processing, and source discovery on dedicated workers and queues.
• Update dependencies and strengthen release checks, including populated database upgrades and browser login journeys.

Browser extensions 0.1.12

Download devfeed-chrome-extension-0.1.12.zip or devfeed-edge-extension-0.1.12.zip below. Both packages are built from this release. Automated store submission runs after the release CI gate passes; store review and availability are separate from the website rollout.

Deployment

No new database migration is required beyond schema 0019, introduced in 0.0.41. Deploy the dedicated article-enrichment, images, and source-discovery worker images, including the source-discovery queue consumer, alongside the other 0.0.42 services.
