Enhancements

• Connect AI agents to DevFeed through MCP to discover articles, topics, and publications without signing in.
• Authorize agents to read your personal feed, bookmarks, and followed topics and sources, or manage bookmarks, follows, and article likes.
• Choose read-only or read-write access during agent approval, with read-write selected by default when requested and a capability summary that updates with your choice. Permissions remain in effect when tokens refresh.
• Set up agent connections from the reader or Chrome and Edge extensions, and review or disconnect authorized agents from the setup page.
• Trace API requests and their database and external-service calls through native OpenTelemetry, with shared request, cache, and admission metrics.
• Preserve full request URLs and original log and browser telemetry values without automatic redaction.

Fixes

• Recover reader navigation when a page transition stalls and restore interaction after dismissing menus, dialogs, and article previews.
• Return agents to their authorization request after browser sign-in.
• Filter public feeds by topic UUID as well as topic slug.
• Keep clipboard feedback consistent when copying article links, Dev Cards, and agent configuration.

Upgrade notes

• Update monitoring queries to the OpenTelemetry instrument names in Observability, and remove the retired devfeed_core.observability_exporter workload and its aggregate dashboards and alerts before upgrading.
