The AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689) was amended by the 2026 AI Omnibus (Parliament 2026-06-16, Council 2026-06-29; OJ publication pending at release — every affected file carries a verify the OJEU caveat). Major bump per the versioning legend (AI Act amendment).
