- Continue alpha QA on real photo/video libraries.
- Run clean-machine installer and uninstaller verification.
- Add code-signing certificate support for the app and installer.
- Improve user-facing diagnostics around HEIC, iPhone import, and AI provider failures.
- Keep README, wiki, status docs, and release notes synchronized after meaningful changes.
- Complete embeddings generation and storage.
- Add hybrid search ranking across filename, path, metadata, OCR text, AI captions, tags, and embeddings.
- Improve video AI summaries with stronger frame sampling and activity/action extraction.
- Add richer AI queue controls for very large libraries.
- Add secure OS credential storage for cloud API keys before wider public release.
- Broaden iPhone testing across:
- locked and untrusted phones
- large DCIM libraries
- iCloud placeholder files
- interrupted imports
- low-disk destination folders
- Broaden HEIC testing across newer iPhone/iOS variants.
- Continue hardening thumbnail generation and cache recovery.
- Automate release packaging with GitHub Actions when the build environment is stable enough.
- Add signed installer workflow.
- Evaluate auto-update support after installer signing is solved.
- Keep binaries out of the source branch and attach release files only to GitHub Releases.
