Garden Wars v0.3

Garden Wars in its own window, for Windows, macOS and Linux: the same game as garden-wars.io.
It always plays the newest version of the game, with no reinstall for updates, and plays the tutorial and the games
against bots offline too.

Windows 10 and 11	Garden-Wars-windows-setup.exe	Windows may say "Windows protected your PC": click More info, then Run anyway.
macOS, Apple Silicon and Intel	Garden-Wars-mac.dmg	Open it and drag Garden Wars into Applications. macOS says it can't check the app: open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway.
Linux, x86-64	Garden-Wars-linux-x86_64.AppImage	Make it executable (chmod +x Garden-Wars-linux-x86_64.AppImage, or the file's Properties), then open it.

Apple and Microsoft warn about the app the first time because it isn't signed with their paid certificates yet.

What's new in v0.3

• Get Garden Wars on your desktop at garden-wars.io/download (Windows, macOS and Linux). It always plays the newest version, and plays the tutorial and bot games offline
• Zombie Nights: a co-op survival mode for 1 to 5 players. Build turrets and fences by day, hold the farm through the night and take one of three cards every dawn; each night is harder, and the Harvest Horror comes every fifth
• Three minutes into every round, night falls (fog over the lanes, torches on your towers) or a meteor shower starts (watch the ground). Which one stays a mystery until it begins
• Bosses transform their killer: the Snapdragon's last hit puts you in the Mecha Suit (two rotary cannons, rockets on the right button), the Rhino Beetle's makes you the Monster (leap onto the crosshair, bowl a boulder). Your own gun comes back when it ends
• New crate guns: the Demon Grimoire (a demon rises beside you), the Magic Wand (a lightning storm follows your crosshair), Alien Attack (draw the path of a mothership's laser), the RC Tractor (steer a toy tractor into them), the Fire Bow (lobs a fire arrow over walls that leaves flames) and the Shield (block from the front, or throw it to bounce between enemies)
• Cupid's Bow and Alien Abduction leave the crates
• Every gun breaks crates, the Shotgun holds six shells, and Dubstep waves bounce off a wall once
• A broken crate's guns are for its team only, and guns lie on the ground as themselves, glowing in their rarity's colour
• Mega minions no longer carry your team's blessing, and you can hold at most 1500 gold
• A splash before every round shows everyone on both teams
• Ranks by your Elo in each mode: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Master, with a moment when you go up or down. Your first 10 rated games in a mode are placements
• Seeds: 20 for a matchmade win, 10 for a win against bots and 100 for finishing the tutorial. Spend them in the Store
• The wardrobe deals in whole pieces: a head (a hat and a face together), an outfit and a gun skin. Four sets, Gnome, Beekeeper, Astronaut and Pumpkin, cost a quarter less bought whole
• Gun skins, and effect skins that turn your default gun into a Bubble gun, Angel wings, a Plasma gun or a Garden hose
• The shooting range is a cottage garden: every gun in the armoury (B), targets sliding on ponds, a truck to blow up, a jungle zoo of every creature and boss, a haunted garden next door and a slot machine that spins you a gun
• Three new bots top the ladder: MANDRAKE (1400), HEMLOCK (1500) and OLEANDER (1600)
• Invite links: whoever opens your friend link becomes your friend and joins your party, and a link shows a picture in chats
• Game pads drive the menus by a highlight (the D-pad or a stick), show their own buttons everywhere and buy from the shop with the D-pad
• Names over every gardener, health bars in the team's colour, and the round's clock under the score
• While dead, look around: push the mouse to the edge of the screen
• The map is drawn at four times the detail, and the game draws faster
• New menu music, a recorded sniper shot and a punchier sound when you are hit
