You can now select a bunch of songs at once to play, download, favorite or add to a playlist.
You can also drag them into whatever order you like.
Your YouTube playlists and likes show up right in the library.
Albums play in their proper track order.
Playlists get covers: an automatic one made from your songs, or a picture you choose.
The song that’s playing is colored in red and its artwork have an animiated bars.
Album art is more accurate, so fewer songs end up with the wrong cover.

Why

After listening in TeleMusic, pulling to refresh Home showed the same Quick picks and recommendations. They only changed after opening the YouTube Music app. YouTube wasn't counting TeleMusic's listening: plays were reported without listening time, so they read as skips, and the app identified itself as a retired version of the YouTube Music website.

Fixed

• Refreshing Home brings new Quick picks and recommendations from your TeleMusic listening, without opening YouTube Music.
• TeleMusic now reads your session's own details from music.youtube.com once after you sign in (current website version, your visitor id, brand account), so listens are credited to your account.

YouTube Music account

• Sign in to YouTube Music for your own Home feed: Quick picks, Listen again, your mixes, albums and playlists picked for you, each with Show all.
• Songs you listen to are added to your YouTube Music history, so your recommendations keep learning.

Search and YouTube

New Search tab in the bottom bar (Home, Search, Sync, Library). One search covers both your Library and YouTube Music.
YouTube search now finds albums, artists and playlists, not just songs.
The YouTube Music feed moved into the Search tab.
YouTube songs now play as a real queue, so Next and Previous work. This goes for search, albums and playlists.
Swipe right on a YouTube song to play it next. Long-press opens the menu, with a small vibration.
Album songs show the real artist instead of "Unknown artist".
On an album, "Import to Library" asks whether to save it as an album or as a playlist.

Home

Recently Played now includes YouTube songs you played without saving them.
New releases moved to the end of Home.

Spotify

You can sign in to Spotify from Settings and import your playlists.
Imports keep running in the background with a notification.
Playlists update only when you tap Update.
Imported songs keep their album name.

Lyrics

Apple Music-style word-by-word sweep on the line being sung, using the new BiniLyrics source.
Lyrics are saved after the first search, so they're no longer searched again on every play.
A lyrics source picker, and lyrics that work offline.

App

First-start hello screens and a new loading screen.
Telegram setup moved from first launch into the Sync tab.
