This release contains what I believe to be a complete version of what a theoretical Intel 4004 computer could have. It contains:

  • 1 Intel 4004, the microprocessor
  • 16 Intel 4001's, the ROM's
  • 32 Intel 4002's, the RAM's
  • 2 Intel 4003's, the Shift Registers
  • a controller i/o and a display output

and other parts that make the machine work:

  • 1 Intel 4801, the clock
  • 1 Intel 3205, the 3 to 7 bit decoder
  • and the motherboard to hook it together

This has been a nice passion project for me. I hope you enjoy using it!
The zip file contains the main program, a couple compiled examples, documents for understanding and using the emulator, and the assembler along with the assembly files for the examples.

Note: this does only work on Windows, simply because of Zeys, the input manager. It may run with Wine on Linux, but if someone is willing to port this to Linux, that would be very appreciated.
