v1.3.2: Build: Revert to legacy Gradle plugin, target 2024.3.5
Release Notes - v1.3.2
This release focuses primarily on improving build stability, compatibility, and underlying language infrastructure.
Key Changes & Fixes:
- Build System: Reverted the build configuration (
build.gradle.kts) to use the legacyorg.jetbrains.intellijGradle plugin (v1.x) instead of the newerorg.jetbrains.intellij.platformplugin. This aims to improve build stability with the targeted platform version. - Target Platform: Explicitly set the target IntelliJ Platform version for building to
2024.3.5(stable). - Build Workaround: Disabled the
buildSearchableOptionsGradle task. This avoids non-fatalSEVEREerrors (related to platform memory leaks /Disposablemanagement) observed during this task when building against certain platform versions (including2024.3.5and2025.1EAP). As the plugin currently does not provide custom settings pages, disabling this task is an acceptable workaround and does not affect plugin functionality. - Compatibility: Aligned Java and Kotlin compilation targets to JVM 17, consistent with the requirements for the IntelliJ
2024.3.xplatform branch. - Infrastructure: Includes basic language infrastructure (Parser/Lexer/PSI) for the DOT language, added during the development cycle leading to this release. This enables future features like syntax highlighting or code analysis.
- Documentation: Updated
README.mdwith current build requirements and details about the known build issue and the applied workaround for thebuildSearchableOptionstask.
