GM SurroundVision v1.1.0 — macOS app (beta)

First desktop release: GM SurroundVision for macOS (Apple Silicon), beta.

The same player and exporter as v1.0, as a double-clickable app. Nothing to install first —
no Node, no FFmpeg, no terminal. The app bundles its own native arm64 ffmpeg and ffprobe.

Install

1. Download the DMG for your Mac below (-arm64 for Apple Silicon, -x64 for Intel), open it, drag GM SurroundVision to Applications.
2. The app is ad-hoc signed, not notarized (no Apple Developer account yet), so on first launch
   either right-click the app → Open → Open, or run
   xattr -cr "/Applications/GM SurroundVision.app".
3. On first run, pick where your recorder clips live — any folder or USB drive — or accept the
   default ~/Movies/GM SurroundVision/Recordings. Changeable any time from the app.

Notes

• Two builds: -arm64.dmg for Apple Silicon (M-series), -x64.dmg for Intel Macs.
• Exports land in ~/Movies/GM SurroundVision/Exports.
• Bundled FFmpeg binaries are GPL builds invoked as separate executables (ffmpeg 6.0 via
  ffmpeg-static; ffprobe 8.1.2 from Martin Riedl's builds). App code is MIT.
• Known cosmetic: Gatekeeper wording varies by macOS version ("cannot be opened" / "damaged") —
  both mean the same unsigned-app check, and the same two bypasses apply.

GM SurroundVision v1.0.0

First public release of the GM SurroundVision player and exporter.

A local, zero-dependency web app for reviewing and exporting 4-camera
surround dash-recorder footage.

Highlights

• Six synchronised views: Quad, Command, Drive, Solo, Cross and a 360°
  Surround stitch that projects all four cameras onto a common ground
  plane, with 3D orbit and live calibration
• All four cameras held frame-locked across 5-minute segment boundaries
• Wall-clock timeline with in/out marking
• Exporter: single / all / quad / command / drive / cross / surround / pip,
  0.25×–4× speed, optional per-camera clips in the same job
• Six skins
