Yes — another major release, days after v26.6.0. We shipped the 3D globe, looked at the calendar, and apparently decided sleep is a suggestion. This one turns OpenHamClock from a dashboard you watch into a station you operate.
📓 Headline: The Native Logbook
A real log, no account needed. QSOs live in your browser's IndexedDB (10k+ contacts, survives reloads), with lossless ADIF import/export, dedup on import, and log-from-spot everywhere — any cluster or activation row opens a pre-filled entry form. Rig Bridge prefills frequency and mode from your radio. Log Sync pushes contacts to Wavelog/Cloudlog and QRZ Logbook and pulls LoTW confirmations, all with your own per-browser credentials.
👥 Group Logging (Field Day Mode)
Run several stations against one shared log: one operator presses Group, gets an 8-character invite code, and reads it across the tent. Everyone's QSOs sync into a merged log with live cross-station DUPE flags, per-contact operator attribution, and merged ADIF export carrying the OPERATOR field. Works on the hosted site or a laptop hosting an offline Field Day LAN.
🏆 Contest Mode + Awards
A dedicated layout built around a keyboard-first quick-log strip — type a call, get an instant DUPE/WORKED/NEW verdict, fill the exchange, Enter logs it. Nine contests ship with real exchange definitions (CQ WW, ARRL DX, Field Day, Sweepstakes, WPX, and friends). And your logbook now drives Awards: DXCC/WAZ/WAS/VUCC tracking with zero API calls, NEW/ATNO and new-band badges on live spots, and a worked-grids map layer.
⏪ History Playback
The map learned to time-travel: scrub back through 24 hours of DX spots with a draggable transport control — play at 1/5/15 minutes-per-second, pick your window, jump back to LIVE. Works on the flat map and the 3D globe, one shared timeline.
📴 PWA / Offline + Notifications
Install OpenHamClock as an app. A hand-rolled service worker caches the shell and last-known data, shows an update toast on new versions, and browser notifications can fire for watchlist hits, contest starts, satellite passes, and band openings — in lockstep with the audio alerts you already had.
