Fixes:

• Prevent negative count in waitgroups: Previously we used waitgroups to force main process to start after first configuration loop. This was done to prevent some first awful logs. Code was not fully polished causing a little bug. This is the fix using channels.

• Replace the sleep clause with a ticker: Some environments need precision
