Backends now speak their provider's dialect, and get ready for the Responses API.

✨ Features

  • Dialects for OpenAI-compatible backends. Magec now ships with adk-utils-go v1.0.0, whose Chat Completions adapter learns each provider's wire quirks through dialects. The dialect is picked from the backend URL: OpenRouter and DeepSeek get theirs (reasoning round-trips, usage buckets, replay rules), and everything else, from OpenAI itself to your local Ollama, stays plain OpenAI. Nothing to configure, the URL already knows who is on the other side.
  • An API selector on backends. OpenAI-compatible backends gain an API field in the backends dialog: Chat Completions, as always, or Responses. Responses is not wired up yet, choosing it fails with a clear error when the agent starts, but the value already persists, so when the Responses adapter lands in adk-utils-go your backends will be one upgrade away from using it.

⚠️ Notes

Existing backends need no changes: an empty API value means Chat Completions, which is what they were already speaking.
