ACRYL v0.2.5

ACRYL 0.2.5: everything since 0.2.4 (9 Oct), on every surface: Desktop (macOS, Windows, Linux), Web and the terminal CLI.

Run ACRYL in a container

• ACRYL Web can serve from a container behind a proxy: ACRYL_WEB_HOST and ACRYL_WEB_TRUSTED_HOSTS. Loopback stays the default.
• A ready image recipe in distribution/acryl-web-container: one workspace per container, all state on one volume, non-root, clean stop. Agents keep working with the browser closed.

Sign in and models

• Settings > Models: sign in with an account (Claude, ChatGPT, DeepSeek) on Web and Desktop, and in the terminal.
• Claude 5.5 models; ChatGPT sign-in on the OpenAI route.

Workspaces and the editor

• Workspaces: named sets of projects, one tab set per workspace. In a Shared Context workspace every agent knows its projects.
• One Files tab, files open as tabs, a file tree, breadcrumbs and line comments in the editor, Settings > Shortcuts.

Plugins

• Plugins are saved, shared to npm and pulled from inside the app. DSH's Plugins page and ACRYL's tab agree on what is switched on.
• "Extension" is now "plugin" everywhere. Existing folders move on first start (.acryl-extensions/ to .acryl-plugins/).

Fixes

• Desktop no longer freezes from chat tabs and DSH's current chat driving each other; a frozen window leaves a health record.
• No white window after a rebuild.
• The Windows uninstaller removes everything, including a 225 MB installer copy it used to leave behind.
• Electron 44.0.0 and the other dependency updates close all 24 Dependabot alerts.
