@adalekin adalekin released this 19 Jul 11:51

First release of the Weeek MCP server.

Task management (public REST API)

Projects, boards, board columns, and the full task lifecycle: create, read, update, complete/uncomplete, move between columns, assign/unassign members, delete. 15 tools.

Knowledge base (internal API + Playwright)

Full CRUD over Weeek's internal API. Documents are exposed as MCP Resources (weeek-kb://<id>) so they can be searched and pulled into context as content, not links.

  • Read / list / search / create / rename / delete over the JSON API
  • In-place body editing drives Weeek's own editor headlessly (bodies sync over a collaborative websocket, not REST); the document id is preserved
  • Content converts automatically between Markdown and Weeek's ProseMirror format
  • Login is seeded once via weeek-mcp-login

Notes

  • Task tools require WEEEK_API_TOKEN; KB requires a login (email/password or an interactive seed).
  • The KB relies on Weeek's internal, undocumented API and may change without notice.

Python, uv, low-level MCP Server over stdio. CI runs ruff, mypy, pytest, and build on Python 3.10 and 3.12.
