Configuration File
wfweb keeps its settings in an .ini file: ~/.config/wfweb/wfweb.conf on Linux, the platform equivalent on macOS and Windows, /data/wfweb/wfweb.conf in Docker. -s <file> points it elsewhere. You normally never edit it: it is created on first run and the web UI writes to it.
- Several instances, one per radio. Each needs its own file or they overwrite each other.
-
Docker or systemd, where a fixed path such as
/etc/wfweb/station.iniis easier to manage than a per-user location. -
Named profiles you switch between:
home.ini,contest.ini,portable.ini.
wfweb -s ./my-profile.iniwrites a file with defaults on first run; configure from the web UI from then on.
-s does not take .rig files. Those are the CI-V dictionaries for each radio model, loaded automatically from the install's rigs/ directory for the rig wfweb detects.
A fresh file may use a flat [Radio] section. wfweb reads it on the first run and moves it into a [Radios] array, which is what it reads from then on; after that, edit Radios\1\... rather than [Radio].

Password=Leave SerialPortBaud out unless you need it: rigs with a slow CI-V port (19200 on the IC-7600 and others) are handled by the rig file and the auto-detect, and a hard-coded 115200 silently breaks them.
