MixDesk X 1.42.019 — 31-band EQ, RTA & Auto-EQ

New: the software DriveRack 🎚

• 31-band terz EQ (ISO 1/3-octave, 20 Hz–20 kHz) as a fourth EQ mode on every channel and bus
• RTA: live 1/3-octave spectrum rendered directly BEHIND the EQ bands — same ISO bands, aligned 1:1. Zero CPU cost while the editor is closed
• Auto-EQ (bus editors): pink noise on the bus, measured through a mic input channel of your choice, averaged and inverted onto the 31 bands. Boost capped at +6 dB (never fight a room null), cut down to −12 dB, unreliable bands left untouched. Progress bar, cancel with full restore
• Switching 11↔31 band resamples the curve (log-frequency) so the shape survives the mode change

Fixes & quality of life

• New channels are no longer all named "CH 1" after loading a preset — numbering continues correctly
• Rename channels with a double-click on the name (Enter confirms, Escape cancels) — name your measurement mic properly
• Localized in all 9 languages

Auto-EQ quick guide

• Add your measurement mic as an input channel and do NOT route it to the bus you are measuring (feedback!) — the app warns about this too
• Run Auto-EQ twice: the second pass should measure noticeably flatter (the noise then runs through the corrected EQ)
