Contact Information
Here you add the information with which the customers and partners can reach at your company — for example a service desk, a sales contact, or a technical expert. Each person you add is saved with the product data, so anyone who receives your product knows exactly who to call.
You can add as many contacts as you like. They all share the company address you already entered, so you only fill in each person's name and how to reach them.
In the left menu, open Manufacturer details, then click Add (or Manage, once you have some) on the Contact persons row. The company menu in the top-right corner also has a Contacts entry.
Contacts belong to a company, so save your company first if you haven't yet.
A banner at the top shows the company address that every contact uses. You can't change it here — to edit it, go back to the company form on the Manufacturer Details page. If it reads "No address set on the company yet", fill in the company address first.
- Click Add Contact.
- Choose a Role and fill in whatever details you have.
- Click Add contact — or Save and add another to go straight into a blank form, handy when entering a whole team in one sitting.
Only the Role really matters — everything else is optional. Saved contacts appear as cards showing the role, name, phone and email, with Edit and a bin icon to delete. Deleting asks for confirmation and cannot be undone.

For technical users: how contacts map to the AAS
Each contact is exported as one ContactInformation entry in the ContactInformation submodel (IDTA 02002). The shared company address (street, zip, city, country) is reused by every entry. Role, phone type, email type and fax type are stored as the standard's IRDI value-list codes.
With your company and contacts done, you're ready to create your first product.
