Linux, Sprint 31: Activating developer tools closes/crashes Brackets, opens blank chromium

When I click "show Developer Tools" or press F12, brackets closes (crashes?) and a Chromium window is opened. It shows "Website is not available" for a URL in this form: http://localhost:9234/devtools/devtools.html?ws=localhost:9234/devtools/page/12345a67890f1234…

@JeffryBooher - this sounds like the same thing you were seeing. Sounds like it would be good to see if this is a recent injection.

It was actually @ingorichter that was seeing it I believe.

I think it was @nogo in Issue #5294 – however, this was regarding the live preview I think (which works fine for me)

Belatedly nominating for Sprint 32, since we've had a cluster of reports recently. I'm with @njx that this smells like a recent regression...

Update: this commit adobe/brackets-shell@7f4a66a resolves this issue. Checking out master should resolve this issue right now.
