Menu items not appearing (Windows 7 / Sprint 36)

Not sure if this has already been reported, but on both of my Windows 7 machines the top menu items seem to disappear by default unless one hovers over them with the cursor, making them appear-- only to disappear once again when clicking anywhere within the program (see attached image.)

This issue has only occurred since updating to Sprint 36.

This sounds like #6801 - @nickpish: do you have a custom Windows desktop theme of some kind, or have you tweaked registry entries to change the appearance of windows?

Interestingly I did use a theme patcher on my home machine, but not my work one and it's behaving the same on both.

I agree with @njx's observation that this issue is probably the same as #6801 which would be fixed by pull request #445.

@nickpish Please check if you're still experiencing the problem once you have a release with this latest pull request. Thanks!
