Thanks for reporting this! Seems like a bug. I think it broke in this PR #7368 when we updated the types, so probably something related to that. I don't think it necessarily has to do with the granularity. Haven't dug into it too much though.

The bug still reproduces on the current version of RAC. So basically this bug completely prevents using of DataRangePicker with granularity greater than day since in most cases the initial value is supposed to be empty.
