⚠️ Upgrade Notes

  • Brain-file templates changed: the AGENTS.md, BOOT.md, and SOUL.md templates were updated in this release (#1003, #992). Seeding and template sync NEVER overwrite existing files, so nothing propagates automatically: diff your files against src/docs/reference/templates/ and merge by hand if you want the new defaults.
  • Qwen 3.8 Max users: this model can sit in long internal reasoning before acting. If turns stall in thinking loops, set agent.thinking_loop_timeout_secs = 120 in config.toml (tune up toward the 600s default if you prefer more patience). The loop guard kills the stalled stream and retries with tool-call enforcement, which makes Qwen behave noticeably better. 0 disables the guard entirely.
