Beyond: Two Souls VR Mod v0.17.16
Play Beyond: Two Souls (PC) in VR: every frame is drawn in true 3D for each eye with full head tracking, and you can switch to a first-person view through Jodie's eyes.
⚠️ Work in progress. It is playable but not finished; expect rough edges.
What's fixed and new
+Quest Link: near people and objects should no longer look doubled. The mod now sends each eye's picture to the headset in exactly the shape the headset asks for.
+Also in this version (from 0.17.15): a safer uninstaller that deletes only the mod's own files, and headset checks in b2svr.log. If anything still looks doubled in your headset, please send this log.
Before you install
Start the game normally once and, in its graphics settings:
- set the display mode to Windowed (the mod needs it to draw the square VR picture),
- turn Motion blur off,
- turn Depth of field off.
Install
- Download
B2S_VR_MOD_v0.17.16.zipbelow and unzip it. - Copy the
B2S_VR_MODfolder into your Beyond: Two Souls folder (Steam: right-click the game → Manage → Browse local files; Epic: the game's ⋯ menu → Manage → the folder icon). Updating from an older version: replace the oldB2S_VR_MODfolder. - Start SteamVR and put your headset on.
- Double-click
Play Beyond Two Souls in VR.cmdin theB2S_VR_MODfolder. It asks for the VR picture size (1 to 6; bigger is sharper but needs a faster graphics card) and smooth or snap turning (1 or 2). Press Enter to keep your last choice.

What still needs fixing
+The Party level is drawn wrong in VR. Objects and shadows go missing. For now, press F9 to switch VR off and play this level on your monitor, then press F9 again to go back to VR.
+First person (F1 / F3) still has drawing problems. Parts of the picture can go missing or turn black for a moment (for example when you walk into another room).

Beyond: Two Souls VR Mod v0.17.15
Play Beyond: Two Souls (PC) in VR: every frame is drawn in true 3D for each eye with full head tracking, and you can switch to a first-person view through Jodie's eyes.
⚠️ Work in progress. It is playable but not finished; expect rough edges.
What's fixed and new
+Safer uninstaller: Uninstall VR mod.cmd now deletes only the mod's own files, and the B2S_VR_MOD folder only once it is empty. Anything else you keep in that folder stays. If the mod's files were unpacked straight into the game folder, it leaves them alone instead of deleting them.
+Better bug reports for headset problems: b2svr.log now records how your headset reports each eye and how the game draws them, with automatic checks. If near people or objects look doubled in your headset (seen with Quest Link), please send this log.

⚠️ Work in progress. It is playable but not finished; expect rough edges.
What's fixed and new

+First person in cutscenes (F3): your view no longer flips around to the back of Jodie's head.
+Button prompts in F3: prompts now appear in front of you.

Known bugs
- First person in cutscenes sometimes puts your view behind Jodie's head (you see the back of her head). Fix: switch first person in cutscenes off and on a few times (F3, or hold both thumbsticks).
- First person in cutscenes: the lighting on characters can look bad. The game was not made for first person, so characters are lit for the game's normal camera, and the lighting gets worse when that camera is not on them.
