This release raises the minimum Ruby version to 3.3, adds new Balance Platform payout-schedule and recurring-top-up services, adds Management donation campaigns and Transfers cashouts, and updates Checkout to v72. It also emits configurable runtime warnings when deprecated methods are called.

Breaking Changes 🛠

  • Require Ruby 3.3 or newer instead of Ruby 2.7 or newer. Ruby 2.7 through 3.2 are no longer supported. (#398)
  • Move Adyen::BalanceAccountsApi#create_sweep, #delete_sweep, #get_all_sweeps_for_balance_account, #get_sweep, and #update_sweep to the new Adyen::CustomPayoutSchedulesSweepsApi class, exposed through Adyen::BalancePlatform#custom_payout_schedules_sweeps_api. Calls through balance_accounts_api must migrate to the new service accessor. (#385)
  • Change Adyen::Checkout::DEFAULT_VERSION from 71 to 72, so clients that do not select an explicit Checkout version now call Checkout API v72. (#390)

Fixes ⛑️

  • Update the repository's pinned Faraday version from 2.8.1 to 2.14.3, which includes the fix for CVE-2026-25765 / GHSA-33mh-2634-fwr2. The gemspec's runtime dependency remains unbounded as faraday. (#346)
  • Update the HMAC validator to use the OpenSSL#secure_compare method when comparing HMAC signatures to protect it from timing attacks. (#357)
  • Drops dependency on the Base64 gem as it is no longer a default gem in newer versions of Ruby. (#399)v
