macOS Dashboard LaunchAgent Guide

dreb now includes complete macOS LaunchAgent instructions for running the dashboard as a background service with automatic restart, alongside the existing Linux systemd guidance.

What changed

  • Copy-pasteable macOS setup. The root README now includes a complete LaunchAgent plist and modern launchctl bootstrap, bootout, and status commands.
  • Canonical service documentation. The dashboard guide covers both Linux systemd and macOS launchd setup, path discovery, restart behavior, and log locations.
  • Authentication and network guidance. The docs explain LaunchAgent versus LaunchDaemon behavior, OAuth and API-key environments, local-only defaults, and the Tailscale remote-access path.
  • Reliable absolute-path discovery. macOS instructions use realpath, with a compatibility note for older macOS versions.
  • Safer mach6 temporary files. All mach6 skills now use cross-platform randomized mktemp templates that avoid collisions between concurrent sessions.
