Bug Fixes

  • Import safety: The add-on no longer crashes on load if the installed NVDA version does not define one of the listed role constants.
  • Table sounds: Tables, table rows, table cells, and table headers now play distinct sounds.
  • Thread safety: The sound cache is protected with a lock to prevent race conditions from concurrent speech hooks.
  • Settings panel: Duplicate panel registration on add-on reload is now prevented.
  • Stability: Guard against a null desktop object in 3D audio playback.

Installation

  1. Download Hibiki-0.9.1.nvda-addon
  2. Open the file with NVDA
  3. Accept the installation prompt
  4. NVDA will restart automatically
