LidGuard v1.0.0 Preview 1

First installable preview of LidGuard for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later.

Highlights:

• Keep the Mac running with the lid closed for Codex tasks and remote access
• Restore normal lid sleep manually or through timer, low-battery, and thermal safeguards
• Menu bar app and lidguard CLI
• One-time helper installation; routine mode switching does not require an administrator password

Installation:

1. Download the DMG and drag LidGuard into Applications.
2. Try to open LidGuard. macOS may block it because this preview uses an ad-hoc signature.
3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, click Open Anyway, authenticate, and confirm Open.
4. In LidGuard, click Install Helper and approve the one-time administrator prompt.
