AeroCapture v0.2.0-beta

A lightweight screen recorder + editor for Windows. DaVinci-familiar timeline, OBS-style separate audio, GPU-accelerated, built to run on modest hardware. Portable — unzip and run, no install.

⚠️ Early beta — expect rough edges. Recording, audio, preview, and export are solid. Some timeline editing polish is still in progress (known issues below). Please report anything you hit.

What works

• Screen recording with auto-zoom that follows your cursor
• Separate mic + desktop audio tracks, per-track mute & volume
• GPU-accelerated preview (auto-adjusts on lighter hardware)
• Cut, blade, drag, link/unlink, undo/redo
• Click a clip to select its whole linked group
• Export to MP4 at full resolution

Known issues (being fixed)

• Zoom-bar resizing/dragging on the timeline is rough
• Box (marquee) selection isn't working yet — click clips individually for now
• Deep timeline zoom range still being tuned

Requirements

• Windows 10/11, x64 — no install needed, just unzip and run
