Release date: September 4, 2026
Summary
This version includes the following updates:
- The individual aql package installs a default configuration file when one is not already present.
Improvements
- The aerospike-aql package now installs /etc/aerospike/astools.conf from a packaged template when that file does not already exist. See Aerospike tools configuration file. [TOOLS-3662]
Bug fixes
- Fixed the macOS bundle installer overwriting an edited /etc/aerospike/astools.conf on every reinstall or upgrade. The installer now writes the file only when it is absent. [TOOLS-3662]
Platform support
- The working directory in all tools Docker images changed from /aerospike to /.
Upgrade notes
- The aerospike-tools bundle package and the individual tool packages provide the same binaries at the same paths, so they cannot be installed together. To move between them, remove the currently installed package first.
- When /etc/aerospike/astools.conf is created by an individual tool package rather than by the bundle, no package owns the file, so it remains on the host after you uninstall the tool.
