Archa v0.2.0
What's new
- OpenCode support — Archa now reads OpenCode sessions in addition to Claude Code. Switch between sources with the new backend pill in the sidebar.
- Multi-DB merging — All
opencode*.dbfiles (opencode.db,opencode-dev.db,opencode-local.db) are discovered automatically and merged under a single Opencode view. Projects and sessions are deduplicated across databases. - Thinking, tool calls, and reasoning — OpenCode's
reasoningparts render as collapsible ThinkingWidgets; tool calls and results are paired and displayed exactly like Claude's. - Horizontal scroll fixed — Markdown code blocks and wide tables now scroll internally instead of pushing the reader column wide.
Archa v0.1.2
What's new
- Agentic Intelligence: Fully renders
tool_useandtool_resultblocks. Archa now remaps tool results back to their originating calls for a coherent visual flow. - Thinking Process: Integrated
ThinkingWidgetallows you to expand and study the agent's internal reasoning (the "thinking" block) without cluttering the main conversation. - Streaming Stability: Implemented a sophisticated message merging engine. Fragmented streaming logs are now seamlessly reconstructed by matching Message IDs and Prompt IDs.
- Structured Markdown Export: Exports now include tool calls and thinking blocks in a clean, readable format.
- Refined UI: Added
lucide-reacticons and distinct accent styling for tool interactions (Primary/Blue for calls, Success/Green for results). - Backend Fixes: Resolved Axum routing panics, CLI flag conflicts (
-pvs-d), and filtered out empty project system folders.
Archa v0.1.1
What's new
- --version: Prints the version of archa.
Archa v0.1.0
Archa is a local-first explorer and chronicle for your AI agent sessions. It transforms fragmented JSONL session data into a readable, searchable, and exportable technical chronicle.
While starting with Claude support (Desktop & Code), Archa is architected to be the universal reader for all AI agents in the future.
What's new
- Three-Column Academic UI: A layout inspired by high-end IDEs and technical documentation.
- Project Discovery: Automatically maps
~/.claude/projectsand extracts true project paths (preserving hyphens and structure). - Academic Typography: Dual-tone strategy using Inter for UI, Newsreader (Serif) for conversation body, and Space Grotesk for code.
- Markdown Export: Export any session as a clean, formatted Markdown file for preservation.
- Single Binary Experience: Native Rust backend with an embedded React frontend—zero dependencies, single execution.
- Recent Sessions View: Quick access to your most recent interactions across all projects.
Core benefits
- Local-First: Your data stays on your machine. Archa reads directly from local session storage.
- Deterministic naming: No more guessing slugified folder names; Archa reconstructs the original path.
- Low eye strain: Editorial-grade typography designed for long-form reading of technical AI transcripts.
