wherdr 1.2.0
wherdr 1.2.0
This release brings full omp support to the conversation view: transcript, reasoning, running
actions and results, model and thinking controls, ! / $ commands, restart, icon and themes.
- Make wherdr your own with Titanium, Graphite, Neon Purple and omp themes, a compact agent list,
and a configurable focus effect for the message field. - Reply to several quoted questions in one message, with optional quote tokens. Sent messages
appear immediately, including clear queued and retry states. - Run or copy commands suggested by an agent. Running always asks you to confirm the full
command first. - Set a maximum passkey unlock age and lock all devices at once.
- Read Codex update and weekly-limit notices, attach supported files, and zoom conversation
images. Terminals gain clickable links and Nerd Font symbols. - Fix message delivery around interactive menus and other writers, recover cancelled queued
attachments, and improve mobile sheets and connection recovery.
See CHANGELOG.md in the v1.2.0 source tree for the full list of changes.
Updating
For the published Docker image, run this in your wherdr directory:
docker compose pull && docker compose up -dIf you pin WHERDR_IMAGE, change its tag to 1.2.0 first. Also run git pull to get the latest
Compose configuration. For a source build or a non-Docker installation, follow Updating in
README.md.
wherdr 1.1.0
First update since the initial public release.
New
- Keep awake for remote machines (macOS
caffeinate, Linuxsystemd-inhibit): 1 h / 4 h / until 8 pm / until turned off, with battery status and a "what prevents sleep" diagnostic. - Quiet mode: silence all push notifications for this device or all devices, for 1 h, until 8 am or until turned off.
- Reorder machines in the list (drag handle, keyboard, or Move up/down in the menu), shared across devices; LOCAL tag on the machine running Herdr locally.
- Project board: "Blocked" list, "Launch" / "Clarify" actions on Backlog items, and a herdr-projects settings section explaining the lists with a TASKS.md template and coordinator rules to copy.
- Pane layout: drag a pane to rearrange, drag a divider to resize.
- Closing a worktree group now asks for confirmation and says what is closed, what is kept and whether there are uncommitted changes.
- Leak check for contributors:
npm run check:leaksand an optional pre-commit hook (npm run hooks:install), also working in git worktrees.
Improved
- Cards are named after the Herdr space (as in the Herdr sidebar); the conversation title is shown as secondary text.
- Plugin actions that need input (e.g. herdr-projects "Continue this workspace as a project") now ask for it in wherdr and target the space you are in; project creation asks for a goal and offers the current repository.
- Codex quotas are shown per account; Claude effort changes send a single
/effortand show up in the conversation. - Desktop: no input field under terminals (type directly); "Attach file…" moved to the pane menu.
- Repository group header: click to fold/unfold, terminal from the context menu.
- README presents wherdr as a desktop and mobile app.
Fixed
- Terminal font no longer shrinks when resizing panes.
- iPhone: releasing a dragged pane no longer opens its terminal.
- herdr-projects invisible markers no longer show as dots in space names.
- Header icons no longer cover the Herdr version.
Update: git pull && npm ci && npm run build && npm start (or docker compose up -d --build on Linux).
