PinboardShot 0.5.1 新增离线隐形取证水印，并改进更新设置。

本次更新

  • 新增可选的隐形水印，可为新截图写入随机截图 ID 和校验信息。
  • 支持为水印记录填写项目、接收方和自定义文案；这些信息只保存在本机，不会嵌入图片明文或上传网络。
  • 新增“检测隐形水印”入口，可验证本机记录签名，并区分原始 PNG 与经过重新编码或变换的图片。
  • 水印检测支持常见 PNG 重编码、缩放、JPEG 压缩和轻度裁剪场景。
  • 水印签名密钥保存在 macOS 钥匙串，本地记录采用受限文件权限保存。
  • 新增自动更新检查开关和检查频率设置。

兼容性与限制

  • 需要 macOS 14 或更高版本。
  • 隐形水印默认关闭，只应用于开启功能后新生成且不小于 320 × 200 像素的截图。
  • 隐形水印不能保证绝对无法移除；大幅裁剪、强压缩、涂抹或再次截图可能导致无法恢复。
  • 截图、标注、水印记录和偏好设置仍只保存在本机；网络仅用于软件更新，不包含遥测或分析服务。

安装

下载 PinboardShot-0.5.1-23.zip，解压后将 PinboardShot 移入“应用程序”文件夹。已有 0.5.0 用户也可以在应用内选择“检查更新”。

本仓库仅用于发布应用安装包和签名更新清单，不包含项目源码。

PinboardShot 0.5.1 adds offline invisible forensic watermarking and improves update settings.

What’s new

  • Added optional invisible watermarking that embeds a random capture ID and checksum information in new captures.
  • Added project, recipient, and custom-text fields for watermark records. These details stay on this Mac and are neither embedded as readable text nor uploaded.
  • Added a “Detect Invisible Watermark” command that verifies local record signatures and distinguishes the original PNG from a re-encoded or transformed image.
  • Watermark detection supports common PNG re-encoding, resizing, JPEG compression, and light cropping scenarios.
  • Watermark signing keys are stored in macOS Keychain, and local records use restricted file permissions.
  • Added controls for automatic update checks and the update-check frequency.

Compatibility and limitations

  • Requires macOS 14 or later.
  • Invisible watermarking is off by default and applies only to new captures created after enabling it that are at least 320 × 200 pixels.
  • Invisible watermarks are not guaranteed to be impossible to remove. Extensive cropping, heavy compression, painting over the image, or recapturing may make them unrecoverable.
  • Captures, annotations, watermark records, and preferences remain on this Mac. Network access is used only for software updates, with no telemetry or analytics.

Installation

Download PinboardShot-0.5.1-23.zip, extract it, and move PinboardShot to the Applications folder. Existing 0.5.0 users can also choose “Check for Updates” inside the app.

This repository is used only for application packages and the signed update feed. It does not contain the project source code.
