已知限制

  • App 内许可与声明入口会打开随 App 打包的 Markdown NOTICE 文件；如果系统没有偏好的 Markdown 查看器，macOS 会使用默认可打开该文件的应用。

PinboardShot 0.5.12 (build 34) completes privacy, license, AI asset, and trademark notices, and also fixes website dependency vulnerabilities.

What's new

  • Added a License & Notices entry in the app tray.
  • Bundled Legal/LICENSE.txt and Legal/NOTICE.md inside the app so users can review license terms, AI asset notices, third-party software notes, and trademark attribution.
  • Added a website privacy policy page and bottom privacy choices notice.
  • Clarified in the website and NOTICE that product showcase images are AI-generated illustrative assets.
  • Removed competitor SEO positioning and no longer presents the page as replacement marketing for other products.
  • Added Apple, GitHub, and related trademark attribution with non-affiliation, non-sponsorship, and non-endorsement statements.
  • Upgraded website dependencies and reduced both production and full npm audit vulnerability counts to 0.
  • The app, Sparkle update ZIP, and manual-install DMG are signed and notarized by Apple.

Compatibility and installation

  • Requires macOS 14 or later and includes both Apple Silicon and Intel architectures.
  • New users can download the DMG, open it, and drag PinboardShot into Applications.
  • Existing users can continue to use the in-app updater.

Known limitation

  • The in-app License & Notices entry opens the bundled Markdown NOTICE file; if no Markdown viewer is configured, macOS will use the default app capable of opening that file.
