  • Jev defaults to OpenRouter using the LLM's existing key. OPENROUTER_API_KEY alone now covers both
    models. Set AI_GATEWAY_API_KEY for automatic Jev failover to the Vercel AI Gateway after retries run out.
    OpenRouter's reported Jev cost is metered, with a list-price estimate when cost is missing or zero while
    input tokens flow. Explicit model pins and custom endpoints disable failover.
