Hephaestus v0.4.9 ships the routing and packaging updates that landed after v0.4.8.

  • Improves Hephaestus Network Hub routing with compact search queries, clarify fallback, local-inventory-aware reranking, and runtime propagation across Codex, Claude, Cursor, Gemini, Hermes, OpenClaw, and Antigravity adapters.
  • Adds runtime update checks and Windows shims for the Hephaestus CLI/runtime installer.
  • Documents the million-scale Hub routing plan: registration-time routing documents, BM25/vector candidate generation, and second-stage reranking.
  • Updates all install pins, marketplace manifests, MCP server metadata, and one-touch installer docs to v0.4.9.

Verification: scripts/verify-package.sh, scripts/verify-install-docs.sh, scripts/public_safety_check.sh, scripts/verify-ontology-runtime.sh, and routing/update/MCP pytest checks passed locally.
