Hephaestus v0.7.6 adds the advanced search/call surface on top of the three primary commands.

Highlights:

  • Keeps the public first-run story to three primary commands: /hephaestus-build, /hephaestus-network, /hephaestus-cloud.
  • Adds power-user commands: /hephaestus-search to compare top Agentlas Cloud and public Hub agents without invoking, and /hephaestus-call to prepare explicitly named agents.
  • Adds matching MCP tools: hephaestus_search and hephaestus_call.
  • Refreshes Claude, Codex, Gemini, Antigravity, Cursor, OpenCode, terminal wrappers, README, docs, and changelog.
  • Prunes legacy visible chat command files and stale 0.7.4 / 0-7-4 cache folders during install/update.
  • Clarifies ontology as the local project memory/playbook map used to ground routed agents, separate from Hub marketplace search.

Validation:

  • scripts/ao-gate.sh passed: AO lint, AO drift check, 130 pytest tests.
  • scripts/verify-package.sh passed.
  • scripts/verify-one-touch-install.sh passed for v0.7.6 across Claude, Codex, Gemini, MCP, and ontology GUI smoke.
