Hephaestus v0.7.9 is a command-refresh patch for the v0.7.8 Agent OS release train.

Highlights:

  • Removes stale command files and old symlinks before copying current commands during install/update.
  • Applies the cleanup across Claude, Codex, Gemini, Antigravity, Cursor, and OpenCode command surfaces.
  • Prevents older autocomplete entries such as 0-7-4 and retired agentlas-* support commands from surviving after an update.
  • Keeps the current Claude connector inventory at 5 skills and 3 agents: build/network/cloud/search/call as skills, and single/multi/packager as agents.

Validation:

  • scripts/ao-gate.sh passed: AO lint, AO drift check, 131 pytest tests.
  • scripts/verify-one-touch-install.sh passed for v0.7.9.
  • scripts/sync-check.sh passed across architecture, desktop, web, public repo, and Super Ontology checks.
  • Local Mason install now reports Claude and Codex Hephaestus plugin version 0.7.9.
  • Local stale command scan is clean for 0-7-4 and retired agentlas-* command names.
