Changes

  • Uploads remove paths that only exist on the author's computer — home folders, mounted or external drives, per-user temporary folders, Windows user folders and secondary drives — instead of shipping them. A path inside the package becomes package-relative; any other such path becomes <host-path-removed>, with a redacted-host-path receipt. Words that merely appear in those paths, such as a drive or user name, are left alone.
  • The rewrite now runs on every upload, not only when the package repair pass finishes.
  • /hep-upload tells the upload agent the rule: filter the root, never words.
