Highlights
Hosted mode can now negotiate and run core commands advertised by Webcmd Cloud, including diagnostics, profile lifecycle, and plugin catalog commands. Help, completion, and execution only expose capabilities supported by the connected Cloud service.
Registered external CLIs can now run locally while Webcmd is configured for hosted mode. Arguments and child exit codes are preserved, and hosted sites take precedence if names collide.
Improvements
Hosted help and shell completion now advertise locally handled skills, update, and external commands.
Hosted root help now includes session, site, and --workspace <id>, including the WEBCMD_WORKSPACE environment-variable alternative.
Hosted authentication commands now use the same grammar, flags, choices, and help as local mode.
webcmd profile use now stores a validated hosted profile preference locally.
Hosted command lists retain unavailable commands as LOCAL entries and report origins consistently as builtin, plugin:<name>, local, or override:<plugin>.
Unknown site subcommands now suggest the corresponding authoring command, such as webcmd browser init <site>/<command>.
Added public package exports for the hosted core-command capability contract.
Fixes
Breaking:webcmd doctor now exits with code 78 (CONFIG_ERROR) when a required readiness check fails. Its stdout report is unchanged, and soft warnings do not affect the exit code.
Fixed browser runs hanging after popup or download events fired. waitForEvent('popup') and waitForEvent('download') now resolve correctly, while event-specific timeouts take effect before the outer run timeout.
external install now returns a nonzero exit code when installation fails.
External CLI registrations using explicit executable paths are now detected without an unnecessary PATH lookup.
Adapters
Hosted mode can run Cloud-advertised adapter workflows including validate, verify, convention-audit, adapter status, and adapter reset.
Added the public @agentrhq/webcmd/adapter-analysis export for platform-neutral adapter validation and convention auditing.
