ago is now goago, pronounced go ago. One way to write Go, no matter who writes it.
Human developers, coding agents, and CI use the same configurable policy.
Requires Go 1.25 or later.

go tool goago ./...A config file is optional. The pinned version supplies the default policy.
For an existing installation, follow the migration guide.
It covers module tools, library imports, policies, suppressions, Homebrew, and skills.
Old .ago.yml and .ago.yaml files and //ago:ignore directives still work.

and Agent Skill use the new name.
Global installs remain available through go install, Homebrew, and the release archives below.
For an existing Homebrew installation, update the tap, then run brew migrate --cask ago and brew upgrade --cask agentstation/tap/goago.
Verify downloaded archives against checksums.txt. Each archive has an SBOM alongside it.
This release does not include a GitHub build-provenance attestation.
The release job stopped during automatic Homebrew publication because its token was invalid.
Tap PR #3 publishes the cask with verified release checksums.
Homebrew audit, migration, upgrade, and executable checks pass.
