This is the first licensed public review draft of the Agent Governance Protocol whitepaper.
AGP is an experimental proposal for a deterministic and independently auditable governance layer for bounded, consequential multi-agent decisions.
This release is not a production standard and has not received independent security review.
What this draft includes
- the governance problem in multi-agent systems;
- AGP architecture and design goals;
- deterministic resolution;
- authority, replacement, revocation, and replay semantics;
- cryptographic verification;
- transparency and auditability;
- threat model;
- conformance testing;
- experimental benchmark results;
- limitations and future work;
- comparison with workflows, policy engines, event sourcing, and existing agent protocols.
Technical review requested
Review is particularly requested on:
- novelty and relationship to existing systems;
- canonicalization and deterministic resolution;
- authority, replacement, and revocation semantics;
- transparency, availability, and split-view assumptions;
- benchmark methodology;
- the boundary between AGP and existing policy/workflow components.
