Patch release — release metadata only, no code changes from 1.8.0.

1.8.0's PyPI long description was built before the 'released' documentation banners merged, so the PyPI page rendered a stale 1.7.0-era description. 1.8.1 rebuilds from the corrected README so the PyPI page, README, and release history agree. Also records the first independent reproduction of embedding_glove_recall from the published wheel (benchmarks/reproductions/).
