v0.2.0 — Share your screen, not your secrets
Pre-release
Pre-release
Portable package: extract anywhere and run Cloak.exe. It starts a bundled
portable OBS in the tray, provisions the protected scene, and opens the
projector window you share in your meeting. No OBS installation needed.
Requires the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 x64 Redistributable. Cloak
checks for it and reports an actionable error if it is missing.
Not code signed. Windows SmartScreen will warn on first run. Verify the
download before trusting it:

Verified in this build
- 7/7 test suites, including an end-to-end redaction accuracy fixture
- Extracted and launched as a downloader would: it finds its portable runtime
with no arguments, generates its own obs-websocket password on first launch,
and starts in an empty privacy scene with no credentials shipped
Known limits
- OCR can miss small text, unusual fonts and unsupported languages; the bundled
model is English - Solid masks only, no blur
- No QR, notification or window-metadata detection
- Lowering the analysis resolution below the default silently removes coverage
